"Unclean"
Ode to the Pig
"Unclean! Unclean!" saith the Pharisee!
The Jew and Muslim both agree,
"The cloven hoof, avoideth thee.
"It is verboten don't you see?"
But Christendom hath set me free,
I once was blind, but now I see,
What was unclean is pure to me,
So pass the porker, if ye please!
Ever since the dawn of sin,
Thrice rejected have ye been,
Until St. Peter's blessed dream,
When "take and eat" became our theme.
And now we bless thee with our spits,
Our frying pans, and charcoal pits.
We love ye all from snout to tail,
Thy cracklin's best with ale most pale.
Thy cloven foot, in past dejected,
Is now by gospel creed protected,
And Gentiles once outside the fold,
Now stand redeemed, as we are told!
So eat thy bacon, drink thy wine,
Chew the fat from slow-cooked swine,
Order music, dance a jig,
Pay ye homage to our pig!

One of my favorites!❤️
